A 10 acre lake set in 33 acre surroundings, containing woodlands, streams and fields.
Quiet and remote location near the village Le Theil. Nearest main town is St Pourcain, approximately 6km away.
Situated in the beautiful Burgundy region.
Fully stocked with Mirror Carp up to 56lbs and Common Carp up to 46 lbs.
The lake has 10 swims, 8 single swims and 2 double swims,
for a maximum of 12 fishermen.

Owners are all English with 12 years of fishing experience in France, now the proud owners of their very own, well established, 200 year old fishing lake.
Bait available on-site including boilies, prepared pellet and more.

The Old Oak Carp Lake is 10 acres in size with depths ranging from 3ft in the shallows up to 9ft at the dam wall and is fed by a small stream.
There are 10 cut swims available at The old oak , 2 of which are doubles ideal for the anglers who wish to add a social feel to their trip, and 2 swims up in the shallows which are ideal for stalking from, all have long flat grassy banks and make bivvying up very easy and comfortable. So as not to spoil everyone's enjoyment and give everyone plenty of space and options.
The lake bed is relatively snag free and is made up with hard patches of gravel and clay with patches of silt, you will also find bars and holes and a trough which runs the length of lake from the shallows to the dam wall.
This carp lake is over 200 years old and offers some great carp fishing.
The Lake has never been commercially fished, the previous owner of 30yrs was only interested in Pike so even the existing carp have never been caught.
