1. Myself and a friend fished moulicent for 4 nights at the end of feb 2008.

   the lake is very well kept and is in stunning surroundings,there is a fully equipped mobile home overlooking part of the lake. with excellant home cooking by the owner jon we were very well looked after.

   we caught 24 carp the smallest being 22lb up to low 30,s these fish averaged just under 27lb. 6 carp were caught stalking with a float these were 22, 24,25,28, 30 and a 32 ! ! incredible fishing in just a couple of foot of water in the top bay.

   we found all features on the website to be correct and the owner cannot do enough to make your stay a successful one.

   i would not hesitate to recomend the lake to somebody looking for excellant fishing in a perfect tranquil surroundings, it is an ideal place to take your wife etc to just chill out and enjoy the peace and beauty of the place.we have already booked for a late summer trip, and also a few days between xmas and new year. all the very best to jon on his producing a first class fishery.
