Hunters Retreat 5 acre carp fishing lake is new for 2008. It is completely private and set in the middle of a forest. You don't need a licence and you can fish 24/7. It's the perfect place whether you want a family holiday or you are a group of keen fishermen. The lake was stocked in 2007 with CARP from 12lb to 37lb, and STURGEON from 15lb to 22lb. (COMPLETELY safe parking on site).  

On-site there is a very nice, clean, mobile home, fitted with a double and twin bedrooms, lounge, kitchen/dining area, with everything you would need for a perfect holiday. Cooker, microwave, fridge, plenty of china and utensils, separate shower room and flushing toilet.

Leading from the French doors onto a decked area, there are tables and chairs, barbeque and a small plunge pool (3mtrs round).

There is also a very nice separate caravan, which sleeps another 2 people, with cooker and small fridge, sink, china etc.

In addition there is a cabin with a shower room, flushing toilet and sink.

A small kitchen area with sink, china, cooking utensils etc, fridge/freezer, microwave and a 2 ring hob which is ideal for the fishermen who want to bring their own bivvies.

Anglers using own bivvies and access to cabin on site:

(a max of 4 anglers have exclusive private use of Lake, your own haven for a week or 2)

Up to 4 Anglers £600 per week (maximum 4 anglers = 7 swims)

Family holiday using mobile home, caravan, cabin and plunge pool (maximum 2 anglers) sleeps 6

(exclusive use of site, totally private, your own haven for a week or 2)

From £450--£850 per wk (all bedlinen included)

The only thing you need to bring is fishing tackle, bait and towels.

Additional facitlities on site for both holidays include bar-b-que, childrens playarea and badminton. Whichever holiday you choose you will have exclusive use of these facilites.

If you don't want to cook, Pam is quite happy to cook an evening meal for you on some of the evenings, price depending on how many courses you want.
