Lac Du Cygne is a new 10 Acre fishery due to open in April 2008, it is an old established lake with lily pads and reeds to fish to, with stunning scenery and set in a very quiet location with an abundance of trees surrounding.

Fishing from only one side of the lake with no swims opposite. There is an original unknown stock of carp plus the additional fish that we have added up to 40+

The lake is approximately 2 hours from Calais in the Picardy Area, near to the beautiful rustic town of Laon. We offer drive and survive, or exclusive use of the lake. Long weekend special offers, and winter deals.

On site parking and chemical toilets are available.

The Lake

Hidden away in the Picardie region, Lac Du Cygne is a fully tree lined 10 acre lake . The lake is surrounded by an abundance of trees from, Oaks, Silver Birch and popular to name just a few, the wild flowers and bushes blend in to create a peaceful & natural surrounding

We understand that this is your fishing holiday, and to make your stay most enjoyable we believe in leaving you to savour this fantastic experience, our French bailiff will meet you on the first day to answer any queries you may have and will be available as and when needed

The rules for Lac du Cygne are minimal but essential for the safety and well being of our guests and our fish.

Maximum of 3 rods-15lb minimum breaking strain

No braided mainlines to be used

No sacking of fish-all fish to be returned ASAP

No barbless hooks

Antiseptic is compulsory and must be used on all hook holds

Bait boats can be used, but please be considerate to other anglers

No rods to be left unattended

No swimming in the lake

No fires to be lit

No peanuts to be used

All vehicles to be left in the parking area

42” Landing net recommended

Unhooking mats must be used at all times
