Carp Venues in the UK & France
This is the clubs smallest water at around an acre with depths to 16 feet. Early in the 2006-2007 season this water was stocked with fish from the netting of our former water Ropers Pool. The water now contains Common and Mirror Carp to 17lb with Bream, Roach, Rudd, Perch, Tench and Crucian Carp. With a lower stock level of Carp than our other waters and a high level of silverfish, this an ideal water those who wish fish on the float or tip. Reeds, pads and weed are being introduced to provide more cover and the water will be roped in the winter, to protect the silverfish. Good mixed catches are being reported, with 65lb 8oz being caught in early May 2007.
