Etang de Brigueuil is a 25 acre lake on the borders of the Charente and the Limousin, 2 areas famous for their lakes and water sports. March 2005 saw the opening of the lake as a commercial fishery for the first time in its very long history. Set in the heart of the French countryside, but not too far from local amenities, it is ideally situated for the serious carp angler and those who want to fish with the family.

Features of lake Mainly silt and sand with some rock features and gravel bars. Numerous bands of lilies. Banks well shaded, swims easily accessible.
