Well established 7 Acre Carp Lake in the most precious and magnificent grounds with a stock pond for pleasure angling or to grow your own fish on. This property comes with the added advantage of owners’ accommodation consisting of a 4 bed-roomed house and also a communal lodge with facilities for the anglers and a car park. The lake can be hired out on an exclusive or individual basis.
The lake is in a very rural, peaceful and scenic area, yet only 10 minutes walking distance of a small village. Trees and shrubs surround the lake and also outline the lake on all sides with many features to aim your fishing at. The lake has bank accessibility on all sides and wide enough for vehicle access to unpack equipment at each swim, before returning anglers vehicle to the car park provided.
The living accommodation consists of a large open plan lounge with log fire to the ground floor, with kitchen to one side and dining room to other. There are 2 downstairs bedrooms (both large enough for a double bed if required). There is a large cellar in the basement, divided and presently used as a stock room, utility room and workshop/store room. Upstairs consists of 2 large bedrooms (both doubles) and a bathroom with shower, vanity sink unit, toilet and corner bath. Outside area – a large balcony (the width of the house) overlooks the lake, where you can take your breakfast, lunch and evening meal alfresco or just enjoy a glass of your favourite French wine whilst relaxing and enjoying the views of the lake. There is also a private garden area and your own woods for your added privacy and enjoyment. The communal lodge consists of a room with very modern shower, sink and toilet. The main area has plenty of room for cooking, eating and relaxing.
